Questions about official Marion County criminal records should go to the government office that created or maintains the file. The sheriff handles its arrest, booking, and jail material; the clerk keeps court cases; and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation maintains statewide criminal-history data. This private site cannot retrieve, change, or certify those records. The contacts below route each common request to the office best placed to answer it.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

  • Fingerprint processing: use Georgia Applicant Processing Service through IDEMIA/IdentoGO when an authorized purpose applies
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Record restriction and court sealing: ask the clerk and the prosecutor connected with the Marion County case about current procedure

The county does not publish a separately named sheriff records division or fixed counter hours.
